Goals for 2021. I like many people have a thousand goals rushing through my head during December to kickstart my year and make it the best year ever. I have learned that I need to tone it back a bit.
So I am keeping it simple this year. Exercise 15 minutes every day. Even if it is just stretching for those 15 minutes. Write everyday. Goal is 500 words but just make sure it isn’t zero. Finally, work on getting better at my day job. Currently it is bringing in the main amount of money. So the better I do at that, then the more I have to get an editor and covers and write more.
So for fun, I have been playing Summoner’s War using bluestacks. It is fun and a nice diversion. They have almost got it to be hands off. You can run 25 minutes of fights without clicking buttons. Which is a perfect time for me to write during. Then my pomodoro is up and I can click a few time and advance the game and then back to writing again.
I didn’t finish Titan so I returned it and asked for another hold which should be later on this month. I have been reading the e-zine Sharpnel by Catalyst Game Labs crew. They have been a fun read. Battletech was the way I got into big stompy robots. Well Battletech and Macross. I am looking forward to seeing if I pay some homage of those into my next series.
I have about 22k words left on the first draft of ACE Cycle Book 2. I am aiming to finish them early February and then go straight into revision. I want to get it to my editor by the beginning of March.

20 years ago, A dormant AI reactivated and started working on the infrastructure to repel the Empire when they returned. They couldn’t fight the Empire head to head, but they could start on the technology to fight the Empire ACE to ACE.
In a few days, Mikael, Dagny and Johan are going to graduate from the Randveri Military Academy and be given a choice.
